for winning the
"Olsinvest
Financial Hard Charger Award" during
the NASA race at Virginia International
Raceway. Brian made it from 23 to 7th
in Saturday's race and 23rd to 3rd in
Sunday's race. Great job Brian.

Racing brings on Traqmate to supply Data
Acquisition Services to the entire MEATHEAD
Racing team. We are really looking forward
to working with Traqmate and its product to
improve our teams performance. We expect
Traqmate to join us several times this
season to provided demonstrations and
product support. MEATHEAD Racing is now an
authorized Traqmate dealer accepting orders

Racing announces 2008 changes to staff and
previews a new Crew Chief and Driver at
MARRS 10. Ed York will be taking over as
Crew Chief and will be driving a MEATHEAD
Racing SSM in the 2008 MARRS Series. Ed
brings decades of experience to the team and
will elevate the level of track side support
received by MEATHEAD Racing customers. “We
set the bar, now we want to move it higher”
says Mike Collins team owner in his comment
about the addition of Ed York. Mike goes on
to say “We have a great plan for 2008 and
look for Ed to continue his history of MARRS
Championships’”. Sherise Smouse after
serving as Crew Chief for the 2007 season
takes a promotion to the new top spot of
Team Manager. Sherise will be the primary
contact for all of our track side support
customers and rental car drivers.

Congratulations to Brian Cates of Cates
Engineering, Brian landed in the top 15 at
the NASA Nationals at Mid-Ohio in the number
69 MEATHEAD Racing, Cates Engineering,
Carbotech sponsored 2000 Spec Miata. We
look for Brain and his son Devin to be
contenders next season at every race.
